Blue Ocean Law (“BOL”) offers unpaid internship opportunities to law students and select individuals interested in the practice of international law, focused on human rights and environmental justice. Summer and remote internships are offered on a rolling basis throughout the year. Issues include self-determination, climate change, protection of indigenous resources, deep sea mining, militarization, and the legacy of nuclear testing, among others. Interns will receive in-depth exposure to these topics through substantive law and policy assignments, as well as the opportunity to practice and improve their legal writing and analytical skills. If you are interested in an internship or other volunteer opportunity with BOL, please send a cover letter, resume/CV, and short writing sample (10 pages or less) to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
